Miss Marjanne Hendriksen was bitten last week by a poisonous snake on her foot, while walking near her home at Covenant College. The venom has caused severe pain and swelling in her leg.

Please pray for Marjanne, that he might be granted a swift and full recovery, and return to her duties in the Schools ministry of CCZT.

Edinburgh launch video channel

Edinburgh Free Church Continuing now has its own video channel where video recordings of our services can be accessed. If one subscribes to the channel (which costs nothing) one can be notified every time a new sermon is posted.

Rev B Baxter, called home to glory

The death of Rev Bryan Baxter, Senior Minister of Kilwinning and Saltcoats, was reported to the Southern Presbytery at its meeting of 24 February.

The funeral took place on Thursday the first of March, in South Parish Church, East Kilbride

Rev JW Keddie to retire

To mark the occasion of the retirement of Rev John W Keddie from the Bracadale congregation, a presentation under the auspices of the Skye and Lochcarron Presbytery will be held at the Royal Hotel, Portree, at 7pm on Friday 16th March 2012.

At what is an important milestone for congregation and pastor, an invitation is extended to all friends and colleagues who would like to join with us at this gathering.
